About the Butlers

David – I was born in Akron and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I attended

Lincoln Elementary, Roberts Jr. High and graduated from the Cuyahoga Falls

High School in 1985. I mowed lawns and delivered the Akron Beacon

Journal for six years. I saved most of the money I earned, but spent a

good portion on a 1973 Porsche 914. I studied Civil Engineering at the

University of Cincinnati until I was overcome with boredom. I found Business

Finance at the University of Akron more to my liking and tolerance level. I

married Theresa Ortiz in 1988. I worked for Tech Pro, Inc from 1988-1998 in

the Purchasing Department. Theresa and I bought our first home in 1991.

We have two children, Alison (1994) and Samuel (1996) and a dog, Shadow

(2003). In 1998 we moved to Michigan and purchased a new house in

Richland Township (NE of Kalamazoo). I accepted a position in Purchasing with

II Stanley, Co doing New Product Development in the Electronics Division.

In 2000 I began working for the Kellogg Co in Battle Creek, Michigan where

I currently reside as a Purchasing Manager.

Theresa -

Alison - I was born in Akron, Ohio and lived in Cuyahoga Falls for four years.

I went to Northminster Pre-School before I moved to Michigan. After I

moved to Michigan, I went to Little Treasures Pre-school. I went to

Richland Elementary in Kindergarten and for half of first grade. I continued

first grade at Kalamazoo Christian East Elementary, and I am now in the sixth grade

at Kalamazoo Christian Middle School. I have one dog (Shadow) and one brother (Sam).

I enjoy running, and I also play the piano and the flute.
